![bio Residing in East Hampton, NY. born and raised in Providence RI., Perry is self-taught, with some painting and drawing classes along the way. While attending high school he was part of "The Center for Career Education in the Arts" a government sponsored program studying Life Drawing with Painter, Myrna Lamb and Illustration with Chris Van Allsburg, a Caldecott Medal award winning children's book Author, Illustrator and Sculptor, both Lamb and Van Allsburg RISD alumni. http://www.chrisvanallsburg.com/flash.html In addition studying Portraiture with Anthony Janello http://www.risd.edu/Illustration/Anthony_Janello/ at RISD, Evening Division while working for ten years with CE Maguire, Inc. an Architectural Engineering firm in Providence, as an Electrical Draftsperson.
